Additional terms for transfer
- A domain name for which the administrative contact cannot be received or will not be answered (positively) cannot be transferred.
- Two consecutive emails will be send to the administrative contact which both will need to be answered within a short period of time.
- A transfer can only be requested once every two weeks.
- A domain which has been already been transferred or was registered in the last 60 days cannot be transferred.
- Before the transfer, the current provider needs to provide a Domain Password (a.k.a. Registry Key). This password is 8 or 16 characters in length.
Special status
- A domain which holds a Registrar Lock cannot be transferred.
- A domain that's pending deletion (Status: Redemption Period or Deletion Period) cannnot be transferred. Please contact the current provider who can assist in changing this status by paying for the domain.
- Domains that are already registered via our Registrar INWW/Melbourne IT need a Registry Key from the current provider.
